Terms of Service

These Terms describe the conditions for using Paxlivo's website and hosted merchant payment platform during its beta and subsequent service operation.

1. Service

Paxlivo provides hosted software infrastructure intended to help merchants create, present and monitor cryptocurrency payment requests. The platform is designed to operate on a non-custodial basis: merchant payment destinations are configured by the merchant, and Paxlivo does not represent itself as a bank, exchange or wallet custodian.

2. Beta service

Early-access features, supported payment methods, account limits and integrations may change as the platform is tested. Free beta access does not guarantee permanent free service or continued availability of a particular feature, asset or network.

3. Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for wallet security, payment-destination accuracy, account credentials, customer disclosures, fulfillment, refunds, taxes, accounting and the legality of the goods or services they sell. Seed phrases and private keys must not be provided to Paxlivo.

4. Blockchain transactions

Blockchain transactions can be irreversible and may be delayed, reorganized or affected by congestion, fees, protocol changes or network incidents. Paxlivo does not control third-party blockchain networks and does not guarantee a specific confirmation time.

5. Payment status and fulfillment

Merchants are responsible for deciding which invoice or confirmation state is sufficient to deliver a product, provision a service or credit an account. Browser redirects should not be treated as the sole proof of payment where server-side verification is available.

6. Prohibited use

Use of Paxlivo must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law. Paxlivo may restrict or suspend platform access where reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, service integrity or respond to legal obligations.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to operate reliable infrastructure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, software updates, network outages, blockchain conditions, upstream infrastructure or security events may affect availability. Features may be changed where reasonably necessary to maintain or improve the service.

8. Fees

Any Paxlivo subscription charges are separate from blockchain network fees. Pricing, limits and billing terms applicable to paid plans will be published before they are charged. The current beta pricing page describes the presently advertised early-access model.

9. Security

Users must take reasonable steps to protect their account, email, API credentials and wallet systems. If you suspect unauthorized access, revoke affected credentials and contact Paxlivo promptly through the official support channel.

10. Disclaimers and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Paxlivo does not guarantee profit, uninterrupted availability, blockchain finality, token value, recovery of funds sent to an incorrect destination or compatibility with every third-party wallet or integration.

11. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as the platform develops. Material changes affecting paid access will be published before they take effect for affected merchants where reasonably practicable.
