What is Paxlivo?

A hosted crypto payment gateway built around merchant custody.

Paxlivo helps online businesses create cryptocurrency invoices, present a hosted checkout, monitor blockchain payment status and notify the merchant's application when a payment changes state. It is designed for merchants who want payment automation without placing customer proceeds into a processor-controlled withdrawal balance.

The merchant configures the wallet destination used by the store. Paxlivo coordinates the payment experience and monitoring layer, while custody of the merchant's funds remains with the merchant's wallet setup. This separation is central to how the service is being built.

Crypto payments have network-specific behavior. Paxlivo provides payment coordination, but transaction fees, confirmation timing and irreversible transfers remain properties of the selected blockchain and wallet.

Confirmations vary

A payment can be detected before it reaches the merchant's chosen confirmation threshold. Your fulfillment policy should match the value and risk of the order.

Network fees are separate

Blockchain fees are determined by the network and wallet workflow. They are not the same as a Paxlivo subscription charge.

Refunds remain merchant actions

Because payments settle to merchant-controlled wallets, any refund should be deliberately initiated by the merchant using the correct destination and network.
